Setup Method Statuses

  • CREATED - Setup method has been initiated
  • SUCCESS - Payment method successfully added and tokenized
  • FAILED - Setup process failed
  • CANCELLED - Setup was cancelled by user or merchant

Payment Method Token Lifecycle

  • LIVE - Token is active and can be used for transactions
  • DELETED - Token has been deleted and cannot be used for transactions
It’s recommended to check the token status before attempting to charge a payment method to ensure it’s still valid.
